Manage Dashboard

To modify the dashboard-related configuration, click "MANAGE DASHBOARDS" located at the bottom left side of the window, and a "Manage Dashboards" dialog will appear.

  1. To create a new dashboard, click "Add a Dashboard."
  2. To change the name of a dashboard, click on the name and edit it.
  3. To hide a dashboard, click on the eye icon.
  4. If you want to change the dashboard's location in the list, simply select, drag, and move it to the desired position.
  5. Click DONE.

  1. To manage all of the below configurations, navigate to the Dashboard.
  2. Click on the wrench icon (Settings Menu) in the dashboard's top right-hand corner.

Edit Dashboard

  • Select Edit Dashboard from the Settings Menu. This action takes you to the dashboard menu, where you can access dashboard configuration options such as Layout, Card, Image, Text, App, Control, and Border to modify the dashboard layout.

Add to and Remove from Favorites

  1. Select Add to Favorites from the Settings Menu. A successful notification appears at the bottom left side of the dashboard.
    Your dashboard now displays under the Favorites menu on the left side rail.
  2. Select Remove from Favorites from the Settings Menu. A successful notification appears at the bottom left side of the dashboard.

Edit Scheduled Reports

  • Select Edit Scheduled Reports from the Settings Menu. It takes you to the Scheduled Reports window, where you can modify the following configurations:
    • Edit the Report and Schedule: You can change the report and scheduled configuration here.
    • Change Owner: You can modify the ownership here.
    • Send Now: This option allows you to send the report immediately.
    • View History: Here, you can review the recent history of scheduled reports.
    • Disable: Temporarily deactivate the scheduled report using this option.
    • Delete: Delete the scheduled report configuration here.

Duplicating Dashboards (Save As)

  1. Select Save As from the Settings Menu. A Save as new Dashboard dialog appears.
  2. Enter a new name for the dashboard in the New Dashboard title field.
  3. Check the "Duplicate all Cards" box to duplicate all the Cards.
  4. Check the "Go to new Page when done" box to open the new dashboard after you save this configuration.
  5. Click Save.   

  1. To manage all of the below configurations, navigate to the Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Share icon (Share menu) on the dashboard's top right-hand corner.

Change Owner

A Dashboard Owner can transfer ownership of the dashboard to an Admin or another Designer. When you transfer ownership of your dashboard to another user, the dashboard remains as a shared dashboard within your Dashboards list, and you become a Shared User. As a Shared User, you are limited to how you can modify the dashboard.

To transfer ownership of a dashboard:

  1. In the heading of the relevant dashboard, click Change or select Change Owner from the Settings Menu.
    The Manage Ownership for "Dashboard Name" dialog appears.
  2. Enter the name of the Administrator or Designer to transfer ownership to a list of users matching your query pop-up.
  3. Select the desired user from the list.
  4. (Optional) In the message field, enter a message to be added to the email sent to those with whom you transferred the ownership.
  5. (Optional) If you do not want new owners to receive email notifications that you transferred ownership with them, uncheck the Send email notifications box.
  6. Click Save.

Export Dashboard (PowerPoint and PDF)

You can export dashboards to PDF or PowerPoint. This option appears only for Dashboard pages, not for for Standard pages.

  1. To export the dashboard into PowerPoint, select Export as PowerPoint from the Settings Menu.
  2. Select Export as PDF from the Settings Menu to export the dashboard into PDF.

Schedule a Report

Here, you can schedule reports to be sent to users and/or groups at specified intervals. You can set a report schedule for a dashboard or for an individual card on a dashboard.

To schedule a report:

  1. Click Schedule as Report from the Settings Menu.
  2. Depending on your preference, select the required frequency:
    • Daily: You have the flexibility to include or exclude weekends in the evaluation. Additionally, for the "Daily" option, you can specify the time of day.
    • Weekly: You can designate the specific day of the week and the time of day.
    • Monthly: You have the choice to select a specific date or opt for the first/last day of the month, along with the time of day.
       
  3. Select the Start and End dates for when the scheduled report will be sent.
  4. Enter individual user and/or group name. A list of users and/or groups matching your query pops up.
  5. Select the desired users and/or groups from the list.
  6. Enable or disable this report as required using the toggle. You can also disable a report in the Scheduled Reports.
  7. Click SCHEDULE.

Send Now

Here, you can manually send the report to the user. These reports will contain only the data available at the time of sharing. For scheduling data to be sent to users, use the "Scheduled as Report" feature.

  1. Click Send Now from the Settings Menu.
  2. Enter individual user and/or group name. A list of users and/or groups matching your query pops up.
  3. Select the desired users and/or groups from the list.
  4. Click SEND.
