Rows
The ROWS tab includes different types of structural elements for your message. They allow you to create different sections of a message. Rows with different structures allow you to organize content in a way that is different from the preceding and following rows.
ROWS Tab
For instance, you may need:
A single-column row with a hero image to introduce your online store’s new promotion
A three-column row below it to display some of the store’s best-selling products
You also may need different rows, even if they have the same structure, if you want them to have different row or content background color.
If you need to switch to a different number of columns for an existing row, you can use the CUSTOMIZE COLUMNS section inside the row’s properties.
Selecting a row switches the Properties Panel to the ROW PROPERTIES panel, where you can edit row and column settings. The Editor provides flexibility and customization at both the row and column level.
There are three types of rows available to you. Click the list initially labeled Default at the top of the ROWS tab to select one of the following:
Empty - Select from several row configurations with no content that include different column layouts.
Default - Select from a variety of pre-configured rows containing different content layouts.
Shared Assets - Select from shared assets within the organization and the same channel, includes reusable components (For Example: headers, footers, or styled content) designed for consistency and efficiency.
Shared Assets
Shared assets are reusable components (For Example: headers, footers, or styled content) designed for consistency and efficiency. These assets streamline workflows by enabling updates to propagate across all related templates automatically when synced.
You must have access to the same channel within the organization to view and utilize shared assets.
Selecting and Adding Assets
Select the required asset from the Shared Asset list using the scroll or search options.
Drag and drop the asset into your desired location within the editor stage.
When an asset is synced:
Changes made to the asset in the library will automatically apply to all templates where it is used by maintaining a single source of truth..
Synced assets cannot be modified directly. To modify a synced asset, it must first be unsynced.
Unsyncing and Modifying Assets
Select the row on the editor stage where the asset is placed.
Four icons will appear in the top-right corner of the block.
Click on the pencil icon (Edit Sync Row).
A pop-up will display indicating that the asset is synced.
Edit Asset:
This option allows you to edit the asset directly in the asset window.
Changes made here will apply to all templates where the asset is used, after approval.
Unsync Asset:
Unsyncing an asset removes its association with the shared library. The unsynced asset cannot be resynced automatically. To resync, delete the unsynced asset and re-add it from the Shared Asset list.
Version Control and Approval of the asset
Each asset modification generates a new version.
Approval status and version history can be checked in the Asset Window.
Similarly, shared assets will work for MMS and SMS templates, ensuring efficient updates and synchronization
The type of shared asset used will depend on the channel's specific requirements.
For Example: SMS templates use alphanumeric assets, including special characters, while email and MMS support multimedia assets.
Selecting Rows and Content

Edit synced row
Allows you to modify a shared asset that is synced, offering flexibility in how you manage edits. You can either directly make changes to the synced asset without disrupting its shared state or choose to unsync the asset for independent modifications outside its shared context. This ensures seamless collaboration while giving you full control over how and when you edit synced assets.
Save the row asset
After completing the modifications, save the updated row asset to retain the changes.
Delete the entire row asset
Allows you to remove a shared asset used in a template ensuring it is no longer accessible. Use it to clean up or remove unwanted shared assets efficiently.
Duplicate the entire row asset
Allows you to create an exact copy of an entire row asset. This is useful for quickly replicating content or layouts within a template while maintaining the original for reference or further edits.
Select the settings section on the left side of the Editor to display a series of properties that apply to that column within the row.
Row Properties Panel
You can clone entire rows (for example, a picture, a button, and a text block) with all their settings and blocks to make message creation even faster. This allows for modular design where you create a module and then replicate it multiple times in the message.
