Article summary

The Comment Node allows annotation to be added to graphs so that some documentation or additional description can be provided to aid in understanding the graph. It is not a true Node, as it does not need to be connected to any other node in the graph. The comment sits behind the graph.

Adding a Comment Node

The comment node can be added to the graph by following steps:

  • Right-click on the background, and choose Add Node to Graph.
  • Select the Comment Node from the Base Nodes.

The comment will appear on the graph and can be resized with the grab handle at the bottom right-hand side.

The text in the comment can be edited by following steps:

  • Click on the pencil icon located on the top right-hand side.
  • Right-click on the comment and select Edit Comment.

Comments are moved by clicking within the comment and moving behind the graph. Rubber-band selections for graph elements do not select comments.

Deleting a Comment Node

  • To delete a comment node, simply right-click on it and select Delete Comment.
