Batch connection type is a group of connectors used for ingesting data from batch sources. Batch Listener uses the configured Batch Connections in the Listener Editor window.
- Choose Batch from the Connection Type dropdown to create a new Batch Connection.
- Create a unique name for the connection. Give a functional name rather than a development stage name.
For Example:
CustomerDB rather than DevelopmentDB. It is easier to propagate the connection through multiple environments.
Select the required batch connections environment to create or modify the configuration.
For a new batch connection, the default selection for the Source Connector will be Amazon S3. This connection requires the following parameters:
- Type
- S3 Bucket
- AWS Secret Access Id
- AWS Secret Access Key
- AWS Region: Manual selection for the region is mandatory.
The credential used to create batch connection must have permission to Read, Write, and Delete.
Configured all batch-type connections will be grouped together.
